Re: Biden's Plan
He has no "Plans" that are beneficial to the American People. Biden only mouths the words his enablers want him to incoherently mumble.
He's been instructed that he wants to replace the existing fossil fuel energy infrastructure with, wind power & solar power.
That would be a unparalleled disaster.
Those methods totally lack the ability to do the job, & in fact will cause more problems than they could ever hope to cure.......

Richard Stengel, according to the New York Post, “is the Biden transition ‘Team Lead’ for the US Agency for Global Media, the U.S. government media empire that includes Voice of America, the Middle East Broadcasting Networks and Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty.” He is also a menace to our constitutional protections and to free society in general. If he is any indication of what is coming, we’re in for a rough four years, or longer.
Stengel wrote last year in a Washington Post op-ed that the freedom of speech must be restricted, for “all speech is not equal. And where truth cannot drive out lies, we must add new guardrails. I’m all for protecting ‘thought that we hate,’ but not speech that incites hate.”
What kind of speech “incites hate”? As far as Stengel is concerned, the answer is any speech that Muslims find offensive. He wrote: “Even the most sophisticated Arab diplomats that I dealt with did not understand why the First Amendment allows someone to burn a Koran. Why, they asked me, would you ever want to protect that?”

The United States Supreme Court has made repeated decisions, the last of which included RBG before she died......it was a UNANIMOUS decision......Black Orchid wrote: ↑Mon Nov 16, 2020 11:32 pmBiden will raise the number of refugees admitted to U.S. From 15K to 125K.

Supreme Court unanimously reaffirms 8-0: There is no ‘hate speech’ exception to the First Amendment https://www.google.com/url?client=inter ... 2GQzhnm5-R OR this link https://www.google.com/url?client=inter ... 8vSltlXcQB
If Sleepy Joe wants to make an exception to the First Amendment to the United States Constitution, they will need to do so via a Constitutional Amendment, which means the American People....not the Executive or the Legislative Branches of Government......the American People in 38 US States would have to support & affirm ratifying an amendment to do so.......After all the US Constitution is not the government's document to do with what it pleases, no, it's the People's Document.....Written by the People, for the People!

Not sure. But there would be plenty of jobs created in the growth in the electric car industry.
Also, plenty of jobs to be found in alternative energy sources.

RE isn't ready to be the grids primary power source. Solar had to go through thermal mechanical changes for distribution and wind needs a stable grid for a stable frequency. Both sources depend on weather and cannot be instantly ramped up to meet demand. To get rid of fossil fuels is to throw the baby out with the bath water.Nom De Plume wrote: ↑Tue Nov 17, 2020 2:09 pmNot sure. We are currently paying about $.45/ liter for petrol and pollution is lower than ever in my lifetime. Dickering with our economy like Biden's handlers want is economic suicide and it removes our independence from OPEC.

To say nothing of the toxic chemical leak disasters from the lithium mines, which is used in the batteries. China is the world's largest supplier of lithium and care zilch about the environment and 'employ' their own slaves in the mines so I see few job opportunities there.
Read up on the consequences of mining lithium.
But even more important is trying to figure out how to dispose of these toxic batteries which will continually leak into the environment.
We have a long way to go!
Read up on the consequences of mining lithium.
https://www.nsenergybusiness.com/featur ... al-impact/In order to begin operations, miners drill holes into salt flats to pump salty, mineral-rich brine to the surface.
The holes are then left for a period of up to 18 months so the liquid can evaporate, before returning to scoop up the lithium carbonate, which can then be turned into metallic lithium.
But this leaves the potential situation similar to the one in Tibet, destroying local habitats and polluting nearby grasslands and rivers, with hydrochloric acid being used in the lithium process.
But even more important is trying to figure out how to dispose of these toxic batteries which will continually leak into the environment.

Re: Biden's Plan
https://www.zerohedge.com/geopolitical/ ... newsletterBeijing Sends Biden A Warning.
Because of Donald Trump, Vice President Joe Biden thundered during the campaign, the U.S. “is more isolated in the world than we’ve ever been... America First has made America alone.
Biden promised to repair relations with America’s allies. And he appears to have gone some distance to do so in the congratulatory phone call he received from Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga of Japan.
According to Suga, during the brief call, Biden said Article V of the U.S.-Japan Mutual Security Treaty of 1960 covers the Senkaku Islands in the East China Sea, islands Japan controls but China claims as its own.
“President-elect Biden gave me a commitment that Article 5 of the US-Japan security treaty applies to the Senkaku Islands,” said a delighted Suga.
And what does Article V commit us to?
“Each Party recognizes that an armed attack against either Party in the territories under the administration of Japan would be dangerous to its own peace and safety and declares that it would act to meet the common danger…”
Message: The U.S. will treat a Chinese attempt to take the Senkakus, tiny rocky outcroppings in the East China Sea, as an attack on the USA, and America will fight China to secure Japan’s right to keep the islands.
Biden has removed any ambiguity that may have existed and given Tokyo a U.S. war guarantee that covers the Senkakus.
The response of China’s foreign ministry was to angrily lay claim to the islands they call the Diaoyus as “inherently Chinese” and to dismiss the U.S.-Japan security treaty as a “product of the Cold War.”
