Yep. Any article that claims one race can do something that another race cannot, is either satire or racist. Am I supposed to feel guilty because I have 3 dogs? I'd gladly give up my wife's dogs to a good home if you can get Mrs Texan's permission.

The part about Eurasians working hard to win the canine's trust is pure fantasy.
Wild dogs have to scavenge and/or hunt, and sometimes that means the mother has to leave the pups unattended.
This is why pups before they open their eyes (1-2 weeks, average 10 days) need stimulation by licking the anus and sex organ by another dog to urinate and defecate. It's an evolutionary trait designed to make it harder for other predators to smell the pups and eat them while the mother is looking for food. The down side to this is, if the pups don't get the stimulation they can't shit n'piss, and if they don't shit n'piss they die.

My point was meant to be that if you find a wild pup (Dingos hide their pups in hollow logs) before it's (emotionally) attached to a pack (4-6 months old) it will bond with whoever feeds and shows it affection.

And I would also hazard a guess that the author of this rubbish is vegetarian or vegan, and from my experience vegos don't like dogs.

Canines are ruled by their nose, and vegos always seem to have ulterior motives.
When people have negative or sinister thoughts they release a corresponding pheromone, and that's usually why dogs bite people.

In the article initiating this thread the author claimed humans domesticated dogs "almost twelve and one half thousand years ago".
Until recent times, the standard paleontological theory of east Asians colonisation of north America was they walked across the baring straight (when ocean were lower - 120 metres lower during ice age) around 15,000 years ago. Since then the date has been pushed way back (forget by how much).
Before humans went to north America it was inhabited by Wooly Mammoths. It was long believed humans hunted the mammoth to extinction. But the estimated 2000 year time frame from human arrival to mammoth extinction seems to quick, so the current theory is the dogs the east Asians took to north America with them carried a disease that killed off the mammoths.

Whatever the case, the moonbat author of the story hasn't done their research.

Not in my family.

My great niece spent her first 5 years on a cattle ranch. She's 7 now and helps in the garden. My granddaughter has a black lab. They love their animals.
