:rofl

She'll want to rub noses with Xi Jinping.

It's not going to go down well.
Her lack of sophistication concerns me , Maori have a real sense of entitlement here, she will be a nobody when she heads offshore , There is a reason why we have never had a female in the role before and that is because a in lot of countries we trade with woman are considered secondary citizens , so it will be interesting to see how that pans out, Its a case of ."when in Rome does as the Romans do " you will not change these countries cultures by sending a women , it may just end up isolating us ,
Nor an open gay, transvestite or whatever.

If a poof goes to Saudi Arabia or Iran they
can be executed.
We probably wont get that lucky lol

It's not going to look good for international relations.

NZ is very beautiful. Extremely so! I worry about the earthquakes though.
It's ok.
The South Island is better than the North, scenically

I don't really care what she looks like. I'd just care about her qualifications and experience for the job.
Same here, I dont know much about her, and that gives me cause for concern , when you drag someone out of relative obscurity and give them such an important portfolio , it sounds like a fuck up looking for a place to happen ,,
If she's someone obscure you might well have cause for worry.

Mahuta was born in Auckland in 1970. She was educated at Kura Kaupapa Rakaumanga school in Huntly and later at Waikato Diocesan School for Girls as a boarder. She then studied at the University of Auckland for a diploma in Māori business development. She also worked at the university as a researcher/archivist.

She has an MA (Hons) in social anthropology.
My, my, my ...........

Huntly is a small farming village. Not a nice village. Depressing, it is close to a highest place for suicide in New Zealand.
Then she was a border at a girls school. I smell she did well to escape Huntly.

She studied maori business development - well, maoris fail at business

'social anthropology' ........ hardly one of the STEM subjects, is it ?
