Auckland's population is 1,606,564 and your Capital, Wellington's population is 415,000. Our Capital, Canberra's population is 457,000. We only had 103 with CoVid and they were mainly travellers from interstate or overseas before we started the "lockdown" stuff.
And what is Australia's total number of cases and deaths , 25 I think in NZ and most of those where in the early days in a couple of rest home clusters, The vast majority of cases here have been in managed isolation from people entering the country

Jacinda Ardern appoints Grant Robertson as New Zealand's first-ever out gay deputy PM
At last, some good news - and Ardern's appointed
two lesbian women to her cabinet, too!

Nanaia Mahuta, who is Māori, the Indigenous people of New Zealand, four years ago also became the country's first female member of parliament to wear a moko kauae, a traditional tattoo on her chin. The country's previous foreign minister, Winston Peters, is also Māori.

It's the new progressive way of doing business -

get a tattoo on your face -
become a poofter or a lesso,
and be successful.

I don't really care what she looks like. I'd just care about her qualifications and experience for the job.

I think qualifications and experience were not the top priority.

Same here, I dont know much about her, and that gives me cause for concern , when you drag someone out of relative obscurity and give them such an important portfolio , it sounds like a fuck up looking for a place to happen ,,

If she's someone obscure you might well have cause for worry.
