By way of explanation...
I am Australian.
I live on the Gold Coast.
A family member was once a politician, holding a portfolio for many years.
He was not admired by the family...in fact, he was loathed...
I have lived in Australia all my life and seen many changes for the worse.
A lot of our politicians are out of their depth and just in it for the lurks and perks....
Our media is pathetic and biased...well most of it...
We, the peasants, (including me) are brainwashed by the media and the politicians.
Our country is propped up by subsidies to everyone, overseas tourism, the sale of our rocks
and our false economy for decades has been on life support....
We are always being conned by our politicians, our banks, our real estate agents and our
"friendly" migrants...
If Im being a realist, then its because Ive seen the place when it was different...
I was once proud of the country..
I start threads to create an interest in a topic...
Posters can criticitze me all they want...water off a ducks back...
It is strange though that the critics never start a thread to illustrate their wondrous
intellects...
Maybe the critics have no intellects...they just want to sit back and take potshots...
I think Ill play golf today...
