Scalpers pounce on AFL Grand Final’s 20-year first

With only 10,000 tickets on sale to the general public, it was inevitable scalpers would take advantage of the limited-capacity Grand Final.

The Brisbane Lions' Lachie Neale has won the 2020 Brownlow Medal.

Scalpers have seemingly taken advantage of the limited capacity attendance for Saturday evening’s AFL Grand Final, with overpriced tickets for sale online.

The Geelong Cats will take on the Richmond Tigers for this weekend’s highly-anticipated match at the Gabba. Ironically, the first Grand Final in nine years to feature two Victorian clubs will be held in Brisbane.

For the first time in more than 20 years, tickets for the sport’s premier event — which started at $185 — went on sale for the general public on Tuesday morning.

Fans were quick to take advantage of the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, joining the online queue for tickets from 9am local time.

I often wonder who are the dumbest...the players or the fans.....
The players are only playing for up to 80 minutes a week...and they get paid....
The fans actually pay to watch them play...therefore they must be the dumbest...
I can hardly wait for the pisshead neighbours to start shouting....
"Get em on side ref...."
"Been doing it all day ref..."
OR one that Ive never heard before...
"Wheres your seeing eye dog ref..."
OR
"Are you a Penrith supporter ref..."
OR
"Whos paying you ref..."
I suppose theyll all paint their faces again this year...put streamers on their
cars and yell "Go Storm" everywhere they go....
Yawn yawn....
A game for numbskulls...watched by numbnuts....

Well I won't be watching it. They took off The Block to televise it pppfffttt. I'll watch a few more episodes of See instead.
