I've never heard of this before but it's apparently not the first. Can't people just do the appropriate research and figure out the winner? *shrug

Anyway the virtual runners are ...

Deep Impact

Northerly

Frankel

Might and Power

Gunsynd

Tulloch

So You Think

Kingston Town

Dulcify

Tobin Bronze

Phar Lap

Winx

Sunline

Secretariat

The Cox Plate has been touted as the "Race of Champions" for decades.
Unfortunately it isnt.
The Cox Plate, this year, like many years is full of second and third raters.
Apart from Winx, the last few years have been totally boring.
They were even talking about having the Cox Plate moved to a Friday night meeting, in
an attempt to revive the entire boring "spectacle"
A virtual Cox Plate is just another boring promotional effort by some
computer analyst who attempts to place the horses on a virtual racetrack with virtual
times, track conditions, jockeys etc...
Anyone interested in racing can throw darts at the field and come up with any number
of winners.
Just another example of an "elite" justifying his...oops, sorry...probably HER existence...
Definitely a "yawn yawn" experience.....
To discover those who rule over you, first discover those who you cannot criticize...Voltaire
Its coming...the rest of the world versus islam....or is it here already...

The backdown, issued by Racing Minister Martin Pakula, came five hours after his office announced up to 1000 owners and connections would be allowed to attend Moonee Valley for the running of the Manikato Stakes on Friday night and the Cox Plate on Saturday.
