Combining work from home with home schooling.

The title thread is self explanatory.
How long will it be before the punters who are fed up with the education system,
begin to home school their kids....
After all....mum or dad...or both....are working from home....
This is not a bridge too far....
If Mary or Bob is working from home, why not give junior a maths assignment whilst
Mary or Bob works at his/her computer....and gets paid for it....
Personally, I think its only a matter of time before the penny drops....
Obviously, it all depends on the circumstances of each family, and the individual skills
and beliefs of the parents....
Of course, to be politically correct, I should substitute other names for the parents....
Bill and Bob for example.....
OR Thelma and Louise....another example....

Texas schools are open, but the parents have the option of their kids studying on line. It's the same curriculum, but done remotely. Some teachers are upset that parents can hear what goes on in class. They can get over it. If they want to indoctrinate our kids with socially correct idiocy, they are going to have to do it openly. We've also had some students get into trouble because the teacher noticed that they had a BB gun mounted on the wall and they called the police on the kids for having a "weapon in class". Some teachers have complained about students having American flags on their walls. I think this on line schooling is good for flushing out the poor teachers. They now have parents able to see what their kids are learning in school.

I think the best way is to make it optional. Not everyone is able to accommodate on line learning. Also, some teachers are in high risk categories and conducting on line classes is ideal for them.

Which is done at home and is a form of home schooling. Can you not already do home schooling? I have some friends with 10 kids and they are home schooling them all. They are all well adjusted and have learned musical instruments. They attend events and participate in sports with other home schooled kids. The first 4 or 5 have put themselves through college. They are working as business owners, engineers, accountants, lawyers, and nurses. Winners of our national spelling bee are almost always exclusively home schooled. Not everybody can do this successfully, but it is being done already here.

I think we are at cross purposes....
I am not criticising home schooling...I have no problems with home schooling.
I am simply suggesting that "home schooling" is where, correct me if Im wrong,
the child is taught at home by his/her parent/s.
Your post was talking about on line schooling.
On line schooling to me, is not "home schooling" as on line schooling would having
the child taught by a teacher on line whilst at home.
On line schooling is not in my opinion home schooling....

I have a friend from Australia. I sometimes have to pause to understand him, but his comedic timing is awesome.

I'll admit that I'm the guy who is pretty smart, but I spend 1-2 seconds analyzing what was said before I laugh.
