I don't think I've ever had a V6. I can't remember what my 2000 Chrysler minivan had. (V6 or straight 6) The most efficient car I've owned was a 2.0l VE diesel. I miss that little car.

I think a V engine traditionally packs more power in less space and weight, but you never know what engineers will come up with and it all depends on what you are putting it in.

My daughter in law just called me with the news that she just bought a Toyota Highlander. It has a 295 hp 3.5l V6. I'll get to drive it in a couple of weeks when she brings my granddaughter down for grandma's 50th birthday party.
