And there it is ladies and gents... triple proof that P is ignorant with no interest in learning... How conservative of you...
Australia was not on the top 10 list numb-skull
You would think for such an intelligent person you would have had a more successful career ?
LOL... What makes you think that I am not successful?
I guess it depends it depends on how you qualify success, as a academic I'm sure your criteria would differ from mine.
You would probably consider poisoning young minds with your socialist leanings to be a success
Dude... How many times do you have to be told, ''I am a libertarian!'', before it sinks in?
Here is a link to what that means... enjoy not reading it...

lol, tell yourself that a few more times and you might cement that picture in your mind , But the rest of us will remain forever skeptical

I'm rather impressed that you bothered in the first place Cods... Kudos to you forum buddy!
However, it is important to know that the philosophy under discussion are British/ Scottish, not American, formulated by Locke and Hume, who were towering minds of the renaissance period... but clearly had a profound influence on American politics.

ok you got me!...but philosophy.. who has the time these days...
events change so fast today...I think if you are a proud lefty own it...dont pretend otherwise because we all know you vote Labor
every one assumes I vote Liberal...and if I vote yes I do...because I believe in the foundations of liberalism a lot of what they do today I dont agree with, but at the same time I think Labor has really lost the plot over the years....its a shadow of itself.....
I didnt vote once while Turnbull had the helm....I was too angry about what he did.

I have no problem with the left until they get it into their heads that they know better how to spend my hard earned than I do

I dont vote unless I want to...
I have voted for Howard, back in the day... He was a magnificent statesman.
I also voted for Jeff Kennett
And I will admit that I was stupid enough to vote Keven 07... Which was the last vote I made...
Then watched as his authority was stripped from him in a terrible display of greed for power...
I chastised myself for that... Stupid decision that was...
I haven't voted since.
I've just paid the fine or provided an excuse.
This nonsense of voting lab or lib is a foolish proposition for a libertarian
I just look at which promises are best for the nation and vote accordingly as any pragmatist would.

The last time I looked the fine for not "voting" was $20. I doubt that they would bother chasing that up via lawyers and court.

Last time it happened to me I was about 21 at the time and we had a massive party in my flat on voting day and forgot all about it,
when I got the "please explain letter" I replied That I was overseas and didnt know about the election!
