What a very awful year this has been

Post by sprintcyclist » Mon Sep 21, 2020 4:25 am

I have lost a lot this year.

I lost a good friend early on in the year.
I lost job satisfaction at work.
I have lost bridge, they no longer play night games
I lost my chance to attend my sons wedding. They rightly postponed it.
My Father is very old and very unwell, I have lost my chance to see him before he goes.

It's an awful year.

I'm sorry to hear it. I think the restrictions they're imposing on you are criminal. I hope you can get some relief soon.

Hi Sprint,
we've all lost quite a bit this year.
I hope we'll all make some kind of recovery next year.

I think we've all lost and endured a lot but I can only hope that 2021 will bring us gifts that will be cherished and appreciated.

I feel for everyone who has lost loved ones, their freedom, their rights, their job, their financial
security....
I see politicians with smiling faces regularly.
They have lost nothing.
They will lose nothing.
The Australian public will forget.
Will they be voted back in...who knows...
They may not be, but that means very little to them.
Cronyism will ensure that they move on to bigger and better things.
No politician will suffer..
All seems very unfair, doesnt it.....
Lives have been destroyed.....
Politicians laugh and smile.....
To discover those who rule over you, first discover those who you cannot criticize...Voltaire
Its coming...the rest of the world versus islam....or is it here already...

Oh yes, I forgot the fires .............

Sorry about your friend. If she was one of your friends she would have been a lovely person.

' ..... many of us at this time are trapped .....' - yes, feels that way.
