New club/hobby required
My Bridge club has closed the night sessions.
It is a big loss for me, I am looking for a new hobby/interest/club.
Any suggestions?

The latest rage at college campuses is Cornhole. It's much like horseshoes, but you toss bean bags at inclined boards with a hole for the "ringer". A good set of Cornhole boards will interconnect and include a handle for portability. It's kind of a social game as most participants are holding a drink in their non-throwing hand and smack talk is expected. With the flare you Aussies have for banter, it would make for good times.
I don't have any photos of my nephew's cornhole boards, but they are maroon and white with his school logo and our last name across the bottom. He is a senior at Texas A&M. They look something like this, but they were custom made by a friend.

If Cornhole catches on in Australia, you can break out your new router and make some money off of building Cornhole boards. A good set should sell for at least $200. A really nice set may fetch $300-400.

Go is the oldest strategy game in the world, and is still played today.

I've always enjoyed playing 42, but it's hard to find anybody under the age of 60 who knows how. It's a domino game that plays kind of like Spades, but each domino has 2 potential trumps and the winner of the bidding chooses the trump.

Get a few mates around and have a card nite.
Poker, blackjack etc etc...
At 5c a card you might have a bad nite if you lose five bucks....
