The Noosa Triathlon in Qld has just been cancelled..
Huge money spinner for Noosa..
Frecklington has just admitted on SKY that if she won the election she would be guided by the advice
of the CMO on border closures...
That is...her advice at the moment is that the border stays closed until NSW has 28 days without
any community transmission of the conjob19 virus...
SHE is just as bad as her opposition....
This Qld NSW border will stay closed for a long long time....
Frecklington and Palasczcuk...they are both clueless....and juvenile...

Of course, we have to wonder who would vote for Frecklington if she came out and said that she
would open the borders....
Who would vote for her in October.....
I wonder if the election was say three years away...what would the two leaders be saying.....
AND some of us are saying its not political.....
BULLSHIT......

Have to admit I'm not that familiar with QLD politicians and initially thought Frecklington was a play on her name lol. Apparently not.

Make no bones about it....
Australias recession will become a Depression...
This will be caused by Australias incompetent state and federal politicians...
Australias Trade War with China is the tip of the ice berg.....
I posted some time ago that September would see an economic cliff...
Australias glory days, irrespective of what category you want to talk about
ARE over...
We have been relying on chinese money for way too long....
Selling our rocks isnt going to save us this time....

Depression? .. Maybe.
I'm not ready to jump on the doomsday wagon yet .. events can be unpredictably changeable .. but if economic depression is our fate it'll be due in a large part to a global depression .. 'Globalisation' with its just in time supply lines has become a dirty word, so many countries will seek to be self sufficient regardless of the cost/price.

Relying on Chinese money biting us on the arse is something I've been banging on about for quite a while - "Time we weaned ourselves off China's teat".

As for selling our rocks/minerals ... well it's a bit like when we sold pig iron to pre WW2 Japan, who made it into bombs and dropped them on Darwin. I know resource embargos are not the flavour of free trade, but I think refusing to sell China our iron and coal may become a strategic military imperitive.

Depression generally precedes war - big wars.
Currently China has armed its fishing fleet and the crews are trained by the PLA navy.
They're sending these armed fishing fleets out to plunder other's fisheries.
The Philippines (amoungst others eg South American nations) is under attack, and has threatened to invoke the mutual security pact with USA, and defence analysts say there's no way Australia could stay out of such a conflict.
OZ sent troops to the Philippines to help fight Islamic separatists in its far south.
If Biden gets in (which China is hoping for) China is expected to make an immediate move on Taiwan.
We won't be able to stay out of that one either, if we want the ANZUS treaty to remain.
If Donald Trump is so close to the Ruskis, why couldn't he get Vladimir Putin to put novichok in Xi Jjinping's lipstick?

ASX is up though!
Apparently that's due to a heap of first time investors ... not sure how the $AUST being up against the $US plays into to it, if at all.

Re Frecklington ... So far she is seen/perceived to be just as incompetent as Palazhay (sp?)
Palazhay & Co are seen/perceives as incompetent and corrupt.
Hung Parliament is expected/been predicted.
