Victoria has recorded a further 182 cases of COVID-19 and 13 deaths from the deadly virus overnight.

The state on Friday also recorded its lowest number of daily coronavirus cases in over a month.

On Friday, the Department of Health and Human Services announced 179 new cases and nine deaths.

The figures marked the lowest case day in the state since July 13.

The declining number of cases show a glimmer of hope in what’s been a hard week for the state.

On Monday, Victoria confirmed 25 deaths from the virus, making it the state’s deadliest day on record.

Apparently the new mutated strain taking over the northern hemisphere is more infectious but less deadly.

Really - do you have a link?

The same happened In Australia and NZ -
with the Spanish Flu in 1918 -
we got a mild version of it.

Very clever Billy,

Ms Panahi said it was extremely clever to “turn people against each other”
as it meant people were blaming their neighbours rather than
focusing on the government programs which led to the state’s COVID-19 debacle.
