Had my car battery go flat tonight. My experience came through in a few ways.

1/ I rang the friend I was going out to meet. He was good. Said 'by the time you have it fixed it'll be late. Make it next week.'
That takes ALL the pressure off me.

2/ The auto shop was still open !!! The guy there said 'We have 3 batteries to suit it.' I said 'Don't show me the cheapest one.'
I bought the dearest one. A 3 year warranty.

3/ I knew what spanner fitted it. 10mm, in case you want to do it next time.

Did you test the alternator? You could have another dead battery in a few days if your alternator is bad.

Will check if it is charging tomorrow.
