I don't get colds or flu so I'll just take my chances until whatever vaccine is used is tried and tested.
It will be mandatory - you'll have no choice.
Roll up your sleeve.
Not if you get your doctor to opt out for you! :thumb

And your doctor will say -
you'll be fine - don't worry - roll up your sleeve - now there's a good girl.

Scott Morrison walks back mandatory coronavirus vaccination comments
By political reporters Jordan Hayne and Jane Norman
Posted 2hhours ago, updated 1hhour ago

"There are no mechanisms for compulsory … I mean, we can't hold someone down and make them take it."
While the Government does not mandate vaccination for other diseases, parents can lose access to Government payments like the Family Tax Benefit A and the Child Care Subsidy if their children do not meet immunisation requirements.
Mr Morrison said the Government would take measures to "encourage" people to be vaccinated.
PM walks back mandatory vaccination comments
"Nobody's going to force anybody to do anything as a compulsory measure, but we will certainly be encouraging people to take this up," he said.
"There will be a lot of encouragement and measures to get [a] high rate of acceptance.
"What we want to achieve is as much vaccination as we possibly can, should the vaccine actually prove successful."

They'd never be able to make it mandatory imo.

Then why did ScoMo change his mind?
Doesn't he think things through first?

No idea but here's just one hypothetical. The muslims would rear up and say it is against their religion to take the vaccine and the government would have to give in to them and make an exception because the left would flap around like morons claiming the government was xenophobic and islamophobic blah blah blah.

Huge can of worms. It will never happen.

Religion?
There were no vaccines mentioned in the Koran or Bible.

My theory:
People make the worst decisions when they are under pressure.
ScoMo is not coping with the pressure - which must be intense right now.

The bottom line is Morrison went off half cocked when he stated it would be mandatory.
He immediately referred to the "no jab no pay" ruling that he made...
He immediately saw an opportunity for a headline as the PM who made the vaccine
mandatory.
This statement was not a considered, thought out policy...
He deliberately made the statement as a headline grabber....
My initial thoughts were that it was just a thought bubble to test the reactions of the
peasants....
It was not....
It was deliberate...
He stuffed up...
Now he is retracting....
He is not a genuine leader.....
If he was a genuine leader, the states would not be dictating to him..
To discover those who rule over you, first discover those who you cannot criticize...Voltaire
Its coming...the rest of the world versus islam....or is it here already...
