Looks like no country can get rid of this virus:

Covid 19 coronavirus: Auckland in lockdown, rest of country in level 2 - Four cases of community transmission

Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has announced Auckland will go into lockdown and the rest of the country will go into level 2

It comes after four cases of community transmission from the same family were confirmed - after 102 days without any.

As of noon tomorrow, Auckland will move to level 3 for three days until midnight on Friday.

The rest of the country will move to alert level 2 at midday tomorrow - until midnight on Friday.

For Auckland, that means working from home unless you were an essential service worker.

The area covered by level 3 is the Auckland Super City - from Wellsford in the north to Pukekohe in the south.

Schools will close unless they had students whose parents were essential workers. Public facilities, bars, restaurants and businesses must close tomorrow.

"We're asking people in Auckland to stay home to stop the spread," Ardern said.

"Act as if you have Covid, and as though people around you have Covid."

Pharmacies and supermarkets will remain open, but Ardern said there was no reason to panic-buy.

My theory:

I always thought that.
If someone touches a packet of meat
wrapped in plastic in the supermarket who has Covid-19
then you pick it up and put it in your freezer -
the virus will last forever until you unfreeze it.
So you unfreeze it -
touch the plastic packet -
then touch your mouth -
the virus come back to life and starts again.

People hoarded heaps of food and froze it when
the virus was around and now they will unfreeze it
and the cycle will continue.

Covid 19 coronavirus lockdown: Jacinda Ardern says Auckland in level 3 at midday; NZ in level 2

updated 0 minutes ago 12 Aug, 2020 8:12am

Aucklanders are urgently preparing to return to level-3 lockdown this morning, with supermarkets and motorways busy and companies gearing up to ensure workers can work from home once again.

Police road blocks will be set up at entrances to the Auckland region - and the Government confirmed this morning it was working with lawyers on a legal notice to make masks mandatory for Aucklanders out and about in the public.

New Zealand's biggest city will move back into alert level-3 lockdown from midday today, and the rest of New Zealand into level 2.

Covid 19 coronavirus:

NZ has 17 cases of community transmission -

here's what we know about them
13 Aug, 2020 3:25pm

Thirteen new cases of community transmission were revealed today.

It takes New Zealand's total number of cases in the community to 17, after it was announced on Tuesday that four people from the same family had tested positive.

Director general of health Ashley Bloomfield revealed more details of the cases during today's update about Covid-19 with Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern.

The new cases are all linked to the original four confirmed cases from an outbreak in South Auckland and are being treated as a cluster.

"What we know about clusters is that they grow," Bloomfield said.

"What is important is that we investigate these cases to their full extent, and that is exactly where people who are coming forward to be tested are helping us."
The new cases

Three of the new cases were employees at coolstore Americold, where one of Tuesday's cases also worked. Seven were family members of these employees.

NZ has concentration camps for all Covid-19 victims.

New Zealand is sending all of their infected to Quarantine Zones. No more isolating at home if sick

This would encourage "infected" people to simply not get tested out of fear. Well done. Also why does this guy talk like a gay?
