I had to go driving today in Melbourne for a medical appointment.
( allowed under the regulations)
No sign of any lockdown -
the traffic was heavy -
many people were in the street with no masks on.

What lockdown?
Really !!!
Wow

Victorians are a different breed
Most people were wearing masks but I was surprised at the number of cars on the road.
There are many exceptions for people to work.

I'm crying today in Melbourne.
I had really hoped that mask wearing would be a magic silver bullet
to halt this virus.
It appears to have done fuck all.

I am depressed about it too.

We just have to take it day by day.
I still think that unless a vaccine gets here soon -
it won't happen soon -
then -
Dan is standing on the beach telling the tide not to come in.
You can't really fight nature.
Are all these shutdowns futile?

cheers

In Melbourne where I live -
a nurse or doctor on ABC 24 TV said that our hospitals will be at full capacity
in 2 weeks unable to take more Covid patients.
What will they do? -
open Jeff's shed - the exhibition building?
We don't have enough nurses and doctors -
they will have to import doctors from Brisbane & Sydney?

And we have more than 1000 hospital workers
who have contracted Covid-19.
Their PPE didn't work and so they are off work
unable to help.
Same as overseas

Why does the number of infections spike every third day....
There is a pattern here..
Do numbers from a particular source only get included every third day...
OR is this pattern an error pattern...
ARE the numbers bogus....I believe they are...
Bit of a joke trotting out a chinese health expert (Allan Cheng) to tell us
about the data caused by a china virus....he's on a hiding to nothing....

Its coming...the rest of the world versus islam....or is it here already...
