introduced to allow people in cross border communities to cross the border...

If you live in one postcode you can cross the border...but if you live in another

WHAT if you had a few beers at a NSW club last nite, and socialized with people from
say Campbelltown or some other "hotspot" in Sydney....and then crossed the border...

Will walkers also be banned....
The imbecile who thought up this suggestion should have been told to just go
and play in the traffic or go and buy some pizzas and come back in four hours and let

I rang the Qld government this morning and asked details of the restrictions regarding the border closure
from Saturday...they didnt have any details....I was told they were still working on them....
Remember as from Saturday, the entire state of NSW will be considered a hotspot....
Your friends may find things a bit different from Saturday....
The ACT was made a hotspot by the incompetent Qld government as the state had received
ONE person from the ACT lying to get into QLD...
ONE...and they make the ACT a hotspot....
Overkill perhaps....or just another political decision designed to win an election...

A lot of people not far south of the border see doctors and other professionals in QLD so they will be hard pushed keeping those out.

How incompetent is the Qld government.
Go to their website and you will see a map of the "border postcode bubble" which shows
details of all the postcodes contained in the bubble....
One problem.....
The postcode for Tweed Heads is 2485
IT'S NOT INCLUDED...
Something basic as this and they stuff it up....
If this goes unnoticed, what implications will there be...
Will people applying for a border pass be rejected until they include 2485....
How long will that take....
