EXCLUSIVE: Greens voters ‘infiltrate’ Labor to influence policy
28/07/2020

Labor Frontbencher Joel Fitzgibbon says people affiliated with the Greens have “infiltrated” the Labor Party in order to influence policy development.

Mr Fitzgibbon told Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell he rejected an invitation to speak at a Labor Environment Action Network (LEAN) event because he believes people with “green T-shirts” are attempting to infiltrate the party.

The network was established 15 years ago by Labor colleagues Kristina Keneally and Jenny McAllister.

“There will be people in green T-shirts attending Labor Party branch members, preaching their gospel to all those prepared to listen,” he said.

“Those green T-shirts of course represent the colour of choice of one of our main political opponents, the Australian Greens.

“It’s the wrong image for the party and it’s the wrong way to approach policy development by running around the branches… infiltrating the branches I might say.

“In fact I suspect some of these people have probably infiltrated the party.”

Mr Fitzgibbons also said Opposition Leader Anthony Albanese was coming around to his stance on coal and climate change.

“Fitzgibbon complains of a religious zeal with which some in the party see the issue of climate change,” Mr Clennell said.

“But he believes that he has Anthony Albanese’s support for his course of action on climate and coal. Fitzgibbon and several people in the Right around him are important in terms of Albanese staying leader.”

The Greeny Bushfire Bandits are Labor's Coalition Party. Sickening isn't it ?

'Without the Greens Labor don't exist in Parliament': Paul Murray
29/07/2020

Sky News host Paul Murray says “the biggest load of fake news you will ever hear” concerns reports of a supposed political conflict between the Labor party and the Greens.

Every election they do this “ridiculous little dance” where the Greens give their preferences to Labor and Labor win their seats in parliament off Greens preferences, he said.

Mr Murray pointed out while Labor MPs “don’t exist” without Greens preferences, Labor politicians often try to pretend they want nothing to do with the environmental group.

For instance, Labor environment spokesperson Terri Butler told Sky News the Greens are both “bad for jobs and bad for the environment” as internal division within the ALP over climate change heats up.

Similarly, Labor frontbencher Joel Fitzgibbon said he rejected an invitation to speak at a Labor Environment Action Network (LEAN) event because he believes people with “Green T-shirts” are attempting to infiltrate the party.

Ignoring the WOKE Socialists' howls of distress in the wilderness and back to the evil Greeny Bushfire Bandits.

The Greens are ‘bad for jobs and the environment’: Labor MP
29/07/2020

Labor environment spokesperson Terri Butler told Sky News the Greens are both “bad for jobs and bad for the environment” as internal division within the ALP over climate change heats up.

Labor frontbencher Joel Fitzgibbon has been criticised by his leader Anthony Albanese after the shadow resources minister described the Labor Environment Action Network as a "fundamentalist" group.

It comes as Mr Fitzgibbon had told Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell on Tuesday, he rejected an invitation to speak at a Labor Environment Action Network (LEAN) event because he believes people with “Green T-shirts” are attempting to infiltrate the party.

Ms Butler said the Greens cannot be trusted on climate change as they “teamed up with the Liberals … to set climate action back a decade”.

“They’re a mob of people who are bad for jobs and bad for the environment. In that way, they’re a lot more like the Liberals than they are the Labor Party.

“Labor is actually focused on the fact that in this country we have a jobs crisis we have an environmental crisis and the government is making a mess of both.”
