Despite even more damning evidence against the two women behind the Queensland COVID cluster emerging, some are accusing furious Queenslanders of racism.

The brother of one of the women charged with lying to the police and causing the COVID cluster has even claimed that she is being criticised only because she is "black" and said if the same actions had been committed by a person not of "colour" they would have been protected.

I'm sorry but I don't recall anyone protecting the white woman in Bunnings who was named and shamed in the media for refusing to wear a mask. I also don't remember anyone protecting the multiple white people who have been arrested or fined, named and identified in the media after they were caught breaking border lockdown rules.

What is occurring here is exactly the same thing that would happen to anyone else caught acting in such an illegal, selfish and reckless manner. The colour of their skin has nothing to do with it.

This is the same victim narrative you hear spread by the Greens, Labor and extremist groups like BLM and it is nothing short of a lie.

I'm sick of people hiding behind these fake accusations of racism to try and avoid taking responsibility for their actions.
Racism didn't cause these two women to lie to the police, go to Melbourne, attend illegal parties, skip quarantine, threaten the economy and place the lives of people at risk, that was their choice.

Now they have to deal with the consequences.

And if that means a stint behind bars where they will have the opportunity to reflect on what they have done wrong, good.
