You do know that Mrs Texan is armed. Right? She has my backside, but I won't be bending over anywhere near you.

That reminds me of an old poofter joke. Oak Lawn is a notoriously gay neighborhood in Dallas. The joke goes like this:

What do you do if you find a $100 bill on the sidewalk in Oak Lawn? .......... Kick it to Northwest Highway.
:rofl

Those who have had the virus and have recovered quickly and with few symptoms are being ignored in the stats either by choice or by direction.

Those who have died of a gunshot wound after they may have been diagnosed are being used to boost the narrative.

I'm too lazy to convert to celcius, but my temperature is 99.5 F. I may have the covid. Did I weaken my immune system by giving blood earlier this week? Just curious. Any medical types here? Since I'm already quarantined, I guess there is no need to go to the doctor unless my symptoms get to be more than I can control.

99.5 is 37.5 which is a low grade fever. Watch it and keep it down but I am sure you already know this.

When the body is infected, the immune system raises the body temp because it works better at a higher temp and the bacteria /virus works less efficiently. Artificially reducing the temp, has the effect of hiding the symptoms and gives the virus a better temp at which to replicate.

Look on the bright side you will be able to incubate a few chicken eggs in your armpits, Its the only fahrenheit temp I can relate to have reared a lot of chooks in my time

But all joking aside Tex ,Im not a religious person but I will say a prayer for you and yours :pope

Thank you for the prayers. My son's fever is gone with no medication. I have a mild cough and my fever is up to 100.0F, but I can easily bring it down with a dose of Ibuprofen. My condition seems pretty steady and I'm pretty sure this will be a mild illness for me. I should call my neighbor and find out how he is doing. He is about my age. I got out and walked a couple of miles around my neighborhood. I live in a quiet, spread out neighborhood and never got closer than 50m to anybody.

Its good news that your son has recovered, as a parent I know this would have been a very stressful situation for you and your wife,

My son and his girlfriend just went away for a long weekend to an area that had a lot of cases not so long ago. I hope they don't bring it home!

Another consideration is that of good ventilation. Opening windows and doors ensure that the virus is diluted.

I assume that Mrs Tex was the primary care giver during your son's brief illness, and if so, keep an eye on her as she may have had greater exposure as a consequence.

I do so hope that you and your wife take care... Kind regards :thumb
