Those masks don't present any barrier to viruses.
I know that. That's why I said wear it in the car where you are alone and SAFE. It won't clog your glasses and you can't get fined.

Put your COVID mask on when you get out of the car.

OK - it's not any Govt. website I can find but it says here:

DO YOU HAVE TO WEAR A MASK WHILE DRIVING ?

If you are driving in a car by yourself or with a member of your household,
you do not need to wear a face mask but you should carry one with you for when you exit the vehicle. If you are in a car with other people for work or rideshare purposes then you must wear a mask.

All NSW clusters have now been positively linked back to Victoria. Gladys isn't happy.

Coronavirus cases in Victoria have hit a record high with 484 new cases reported in the last 24 hours, as new figures reveal almost 90 per cent of people are failing to self-isolate when they become unwell.
Key points:

Two men in their 90s have died overnight, taking the death toll to 44
Premier Daniel Andrews warned the lockdown could be extended
He said nearly 90 per cent of people are not isolating when they first feel sick

Premier Daniel Andrews warned Victorians the outbreak could worsen and the state's six-week shutdown could be extended if they did not change their behaviour.

Today's figures surpass the total number of Australians who contracted coronavirus on a single day at the height of the pandemic, which peaked at 469 cases on March 28.

Another two men in their 90s died overnight — both in aged care facilities — taking the death toll to 44.

The total number of cases in the state now stands at 6,739.

Mr Andrews said the numbers had not been coming down "as we would like them to".
