Re: Melbourne back in 6 week lockdown July 7
Cods, my parents told me when I was 18 and had to start voting that all politicians are in it
just for the lurks and perks. The discussions were numerous and endless...
I had an uncle who was in politics...many rumours...long story...
Trust them at your peril....
I wouldn't trust any Australian politician as far as I could throw him/her...
Then again of course, we are only talking about trust...
How competent do you think they really are at their jobs...
Do we ever find out...of course not....

Victoria reports 363 new cases,
masks mandatory outside.

Victorian premier Daniel Andrews said there are 363 new cases today, three new deaths. Two men in their 90s and a woman in her 90s have died.
Of the new cases, 36 are connected to known outbreaks and 327 are under investigation.
The premier announced that people in Melbourne and Mitchell Shire will need to wear masks when going outside during lockdown.
The new rule will be enforced from midnight Wednesday and a $200 fine will be issued for those caught not wearing a mask.
"If you are out of your home for one of the four permitted reasons, then you need to be wearing a mask or a face coverings.
"It need not be a hospital-grade mask, it can be one of the handmade masks like I was wearing when I came in today. It can be a scarf," the Premier said.
The state has 2.5-3 million masks on order, with the first batch of 300,000 due to arrive this week.

I wonder how long it takes for the media to twig that muslims possibly don't use hand sanitizer….
Because of the alcohol content...…muslims don’t drink alcohol and typically avoid it in foods or other things that contain it, such as perfumes and deodorants, lest it should invalidate prayers, which need to be carried out in a pure state.
Therefore muslims would have to seek advice as to whether alcohol based sanitizer should be used or if it is classified as haram
This of course would depend on individual advice by indivual imams...

BUT then again we cant really blame muslims for anything can we......

It's everyone not just mussies.
I went to 3 hairdressers yesterday and
not one of them was wearing a mask.
I didn't book any appointments.
Unless the Govt. makes common sense mandatory
then it never happens.

I get the feeling that joe public has had enough of the rules and regulations and human nature
has well and truly taken over....no-one really cares any more.....
People, for example can attempt to climb over the barricade in Dixon Street Tweed Heads which
has been erected and they will be fined....however, the very same people can merely walk
into Griffith Street Coolangatta from Stuart Street, past the cops without even showing a pass....
No one cares any more.....
The governments have stuffed it up and the public are fully aware of their fuckups....
They dont trust the governments any more and are all making their own rules regarding masks
and whether to socially distance or not...
When identity politics are identified and BLM protestors are not fined, then everyone says
fuck it....Ill do as I please....the protestors are...why cant I....
The only time I see people socially distancing now is in the supermarkets where everyone
stands behind the lines on the floor.....elsewhere....non existent....

Just got back from a large shopping center in East Melbourne.
I wore a mask and more than half the people were wearing them.
I also bought 4 packs of masks for $10.

This is only the beginning of Covid-19.
If it's anything like the Spanish Flu
we'll get 100 million deaths in the world.
( they had 50 million deaths when the population was less than a half of now)

This is crazy - I'm supposed to wear a mask while
I'm driving alone in my car.
Daniel Andrews has gone insane.
https://www.abc.net.au/news/2020-07-19/ ... m/12470640
Should I wear a mask while driving?
Mr Andrews says err on the side of caution and wear a mask whenever possible.
Yes, that means even if you are driving a car.
"It's not like police will be pulling over every single vehicle or every single person to check you are wearing a mask but err on the side of caution," he says.
"Err on the side of doing more than less."
