4. How much dirt is there in a hole that measures two feet by three feet by four feet?

5. What word in the English language is always spelled incorrectly?

6. Billy was born on December 28th, yet his birthday is always in the summer. How is this possible?

7. In some states you cannot take a picture of a man with a wooden leg. Why not?

8. What was the President’s name in 1975?

Keep that brain working; try to figure this one out....

See if you can figure out what these seven words all have in common?
1. Banana
2. Dresser
3. Grammar
4. Potato
5. Revive
6. Uneven
7. Assess

Give it another try....
Look at each word carefully. You'll kick yourself when you discover the answer.

The first post was deliberate tricks, but easily worked out.

The second post was easier, I thought.

This is the problem with so many of these "tests" or "brain teasers".

They set out to confuse or trick the person into the wrong answer.

Why not just ask a straight forward question, one asks?

Because those who cannot work more complex calculations or understand physics need to find a way to prove they are smarter.
So they develop obscure logic that is designed, not to test knowledge or ability
But to see if you can work out the tricks employed.

For someone of a non-english background
No matter how intellegent they may be.
Understanding and insisting these questions would be virtually impossible.

I dislike puzzles, have never done a jigsaw puzzle in my life.
Don't generally do quizzes or play word games.

Just for a lark
Who knows why jigsaw puzzles are called jigsaw puzzles?

No googling.
I have a dream
A world free from the plague of Islam
A world that has never known the horrors of the cult of death.
My hope is that in time, Islam will be nothing but a bad dream

Jig saw puzzles were originally made with a jig saw.

They are not designed to 'trick' you. They are designed to make you think outside the box which is a valued attribute of problem solving.
