I went to Aldi the other day and saw the checkout operator taking name, address and phone
number from someone paying with cash.....
But not from me or other card users....

I'd just give then false details and say I don't drive hence I have no licence to show. Then they would probably just refuse my cash?

This whole invasion of privacy thing is really peeing me off.

My son was shopping at Coles the other night and tried to pay in cash and they refused to take it. Will go to Woolies in future just as a protest but I am sure they will be doing the same thing in the near future.

Qld has a new runway....
$1.1 billion spent on a 3 kilometre adjoining runway at Brisbane airport....
8 years it took to lay the runway.....8 years.....
If my maths are correct the runway cost taxpayers about $360 million per km...
That's $36 million per hundred yards....adjoining another runway....
To lay bitumen....

Could be the same mob that's getting half a billion to upgrade our war memorial in Canberra....

Legislation has been thrown out the window simply to appease the appellant family.
