I haven't heard anything about it since except Google downloaded some exposure notifications thing onto android phones. It doesn't do anything unless you have the App itself and use bluetooth.

It's still an invasion though.

I have the App and leave Bluetooth on. Why are people worried about it? There is absolutely nothing on my phone as I don't use it to do anything, I use the PC for that.

I thought the App was supposed to be used IF somebody got the virus and then Health or whomever could contact people that they had come in contact with to alert them to get checked? Has this not happened? I mean, we have so few numbers of the virus that I presume people would know where they have been and who they have seen and perhaps wouldn't need the App to track them?

I have a friend in Singapore and he tells me that they are getting 200+ new cases per day and everybody is carrying their phones with the "tracing App".

It traces wherever you go and notifies you if you come within a certain distance of anyone with CV. That, of course, is dependent on the person with CV having had been tested and certified positive and also on whether or not they have the App.

So it doesn't account for asymptomatic carriers, obviously cannot recognise the infected who don't have the App and it's pretty useless unless everyone is constantly tested imo.

Yet it can trace you wherever you go.
