The VIRUS is chasing the Socialist Virus!!!

With Victoria fast falling into a basket case under the incompetent, yet rather assertive Labor Govt, and that tyrant Andrews in charge, crime is going pretty much along as it wants...especially the gang bashings, predominantly by immigrants.

The Police should have ample time on their hands to pursue this case, as they seem to doing sweet f.....l policing at the moment.

Someone once said that the only good thing to come out of Victoria was the Hume Highway!!!

Victoria the third world state in a first world country, all created by Labor.

You can do anything you like - as long as you have thousands of people, yell a lot, and hold protest banners!

Victoria has fallen under Chinese Communist Party rule. What do you expect ?

Big eared, wonky eyed Socialist frog!!!!

I'm guessing if or when the CV19 2nd wave hits Chairman Dan will get the blame ... and so he should.
If Donald Trump is so close to the Ruskis, why couldn't he get Vladimir Putin to put novichok in Xi Jjinping's lipstick?

you are correct bobs..Andrews should resign.

https://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/news/ ... aab1780db1

Illegal cash payments to guards and billing rorts have been exposed in Victoria’s COVID-19 hotel quarantine debacle.

Unscrupulous security firms, being probed over their part in triggering Melbourne’s second coronavirus wave, exploited the pandemic by charging taxpayers for shifts never worked.

The rort — known as “ghosting” — led to hazardous understaffing in hotels, with those who questioned operators even being threatened.

Cash payments agreed between providers and workers, long a scourge in the security industry, were also widely used.

Other alarming claims detailed by security industry figures and quarantine-hotel insiders include:

HOTEL guards slept with guests;

SECURITY personnel wore personal protective equipment for up to eight hours without changing it;

GUARDS shook hands and shared lifts in a major breach of regulations;

SOME of them had just six hours of infection control training and were caught sleeping on the job; and

QUARANTINED families were allowed to go between rooms to play cards and games with others.

Under the ghosting rort, operators would charge authorities for providing a certain number of staff for a shift, say 30, but hired several fewer, for example 20. Fake names would be given for the non-existent workers.

this is only a small part of the report.. looks to me like he could be in real trouble..

ow are the mighty fallen. Until just recently it seemed that if there were one figure in Australia who could crush the COVID virus by pure power of will it was Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews. Now he is presiding over an infection rate higher than Italy’s and has been driven to restore lockdown measures for some Melbourne suburbs that have recorded an alarming exponential spike in the spread of the virus. And the way Victorians rank his handling of the virus, according to Newspoll, has dropped dramatically.

At the end of the day, the buck stops with the Premier. The preposterous and culpable inefficiency in maintaining the quarantine at hotels such as the Stamford Plaza and Rydges that has led to a disproportionate increase in the number of infections is his responsibility. The quarantine should never have been contracted out and should have been overseen with the utmost government stringency.

Total incompetence. He's been too busy kissing China's butt to do any semblance of a reasonable job.
