I have no problem with Tony Abbott being honoured. He constantly gets out there into the community and quietly gives back without seeking gratitude and recognition and that's pretty unique amongst our pathetic politicians.

I must confess I have overlooked Abbott's attempts at fighting bush fires etc...
Its a quirky trait to find in a politician....

A mate of mine has mentioned that a primary school near him has the kids coming out
at staggered intervals...some come out at 2.30...others at 3pm... (was always 3pm)...presumably their
start times are also staggered...wonder if this is happening state wide....wonder
what the working parents have to say about that...wonder what other insidious "experimental systems"
are going to be hoisted upon the unsuspecting peasants......working from home...4 day weeks....hhmmm...

That's just reducing contact between people - a good idea.

I wonder how this effects bus timetables....plus the hours displayed on school speed zone signs...
Will all the speed zone signs be altered...what about parents who have to go
work...they now have to alter their start times to fit in with the school timetables...
Sounds like a cock up to me....
I can only assume that this has been voted in at various P and C meetings for individual
schools.....anyway...probably unimportant to most.....
