Re: Minneapolis on fire!
When a/the govt (and police are a govt agency) become unreasonable and/or unaccountable it's normal - some say necessary - for the public to fight back.
The US govt is now facing armed resistance from citizen militias in many parts of the country.
If the govt cracks down they could incite mutiny if not civil war - the next US election could be quite hazardous.
Perfect timing though ... The Chinese Communist Party is in damage control ATM as the party members in Beijing are irate about China's global public image over the Wuhan flu stuff up/s. .... Fingers crossed for regime change.
Remember when the Russian controlled Ukrainian govt set the riot squads onto the people?
The people tooled up and smashed the riot squads.
Ah man .. nothing like a good rebellion

If Donald Trump is so close to the Ruskis, why couldn't he get Vladimir Putin to put novichok in Xi Jjinping's lipstick?

I know right! Best of all, is that we get it streamed live, watching it all unfold in the comfort of home.Outlaw Yogi wrote: ↑Mon Jun 01, 2020 5:48 pmWhen a/the govt (and police are a govt agency) become unreasonable and/or unaccountable it's normal - some say necessary - for the public to fight back.

All we need now is the middle class 'Occupy Wall Street' crew, and we'll have a full scale civil uprising!

Re: Minneapolis on fire!
I sent a link of this in our newspapers to a couple of American friends for their information so they would know how it is being dealt with here.

This is a reply from one of them.

Things are jumping across the U.S. While George Floyd was apprehended after trying to pass counterfeit currency, his death was uncalled for. Loud and vocal protests are protected by our Constitution. When they get out of hand, they are no longer protests, but criminal gangs running amok. There were at least two major outbreaks while Obama was president. His inaction fueled the fire. I believe that Trump has had enough ... but then that is most likely the intent of some of the action ... to provoke Trump into action that will lead to his defeat in the November election ... sad to say. Many of the protesters have identical shirts and "equipment", are bused (also possibly flown) in to key areas, and appear to be coached as to what to say and do. I hope Trump gets to the bottom of that.

I would think lots of unrest would possibly have the opposite effect and work in Trumps favour !
So I feel he will egg it on in anyway he can!
People are reluctant to change during and emergency !
Will be interesting to observe anyway

Trump is egging it on? Gawd it's quite amazing how 2 people can read the same words and have totally different interpretations.

Did you see the scum that killed that poor little puppy on live TV and wrapped it in barbed wire? Makes me so MAD!!
Turns out George Floyd had COVID-19 to go with the Fentanyl and Meth in his system. Little wonder he had trouble breathing regardless of what happened.
