I just checked and posts made here ARE visible in a Google search so the whole world can see them and if they are interesting and relevant the whole world can have a look. A bit of controversy is always effective.

What begs the question is BtheK a closet Socialist ? From lots of experience I know they hate me.

But the section is Federal Politics and I post issues in federal politics.

If it is from the Australian then access may be denied and so the whole article is needed.

Usually it is a lot easier to use the article to cover the issue rather than make some amateurish inarticulate paraphrase of it.

Labor is a non-event now and so all the useful stuff is what ScoMo does to steer the recovery of Australia back to prosperity.

A really hot topic now is how can ScoMo crush the evil Commo unions to stop them sabotaging Australia ?

What ScoMo needs to do to recover Australia. Spend Spend.  It's a bit like the huge infrastructure projects after WWII.

'A frightening insight': There's only one way out of this recession
Ross Gittins Economics Editor May 26, 2020 — 11.30am

Lying awake in bed last night thinking about our predicament, a frightening insight came to me: the only way out of a recession is to spend your way out. It sounds wrong-headed, but it’s not. It’s just, as economists say, “counter-intuitive”.

Who must do all this spending? In the first instance, the government. And let me tell you, if Scott Morrison lacks the courage to spend as much as is needed – as it seems he may – he’s likely to be kicked out at the next election because we’ll still be languishing in a recession that’s deeper and longer than it needed to be.

Read the full recovery story here.

Sadly Billy, whilst the TranTroll is intentionally annoying, its links are valid. Just ignore it, or speak only to the links, in your wonderfully, irreverent way. :hlo
