I would like to encourage you all to watch the doco 'Anvil'.

I dare you to find any other music doco that so well captures the human rapture of making and being a part of music, no matter how low your fucking life seems.

To see Lips cry about how much he loves his band mates is the truest scene you're likely to see on DVD this year.

Watch it.

Blockbuster would have it for rent - it only came out on DVD last month.

Hi - Kmart/JB hifi/HMV/Big W etc will all have it.

Well...OK then.

Try to get your self a copy of 'Kick Ass' while you're at it.

Ignore the tools (ie Richard Wilkins) bemoaning the exploitation of kids in this film.....it's pure comic genius.
