General Michael Flynn Exonerated

Justice Dept dropping Flynn’s criminal case

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Justice Department on Thursday said it is dropping the criminal case against President Donald Trump’s first national security adviser, Michael Flynn, abandoning a prosecution that became a rallying cry for Trump and his supporters in attacking the FBI’s Russia investigation.

The move is a stunning reversal for one of the signature cases brought by special counsel Robert Mueller. It comes even though prosecutors for the last three years had maintained that Flynn had lied to the FBI about his conversations with the Russian ambassador in a January 2017 interview. Flynn himself admitted as much, and became a key cooperator for Mueller as he investigated ties between Russia and the 2016 Trump campaign.

In court documents being filed Thursday, the Justice Department said it is dropping the case “after a considered review of all the facts and circumstances of this case, including newly discovered and disclosed information.” The documents were obtained by The Associated Press.

Schiff and Nadler are apoplectic. Now that the Russian probe documents have also been declassified let's see if Schiff will release the 53 witness documents he has been lying about. These people are filth.

Leftist commies are even making death threats online. The wheels are falling off the Democrat communist wagon.
Mueller prosecutor withdraws from Flynn case after questions surface concerning his compliance with court order

Brandon Van Grack, a top Justice Department prosecutor and former member of Special Counsel Robert Mueller's team, is no longer handling the case of former national security adviser Michael Flynn -- and he's withdrawing from other unrelated cases as well, raising questions about his future at the DOJ.

No explanation was given for Van Grack's abrupt withdrawal from the Flynn case, which was recorded in a brief filing with the court on Thursday. But Van Grack's removal came just days after Fox News reported that explosive, newly unsealed evidence documenting the FBI's efforts to target Flynn -- including a top official's handwritten memo debating whether the FBI's "goal" was "to get him to lie, so we can prosecute him or get him fired" -- called into question whether Van Grack complied with a court order to produce favorable evidence to Flynn.

Since February 2018, Van Grack -- who now heads the DOJ's Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) unit -- has been obligated to comply with D.C. District Court Judge Emmet G. Sullivan's standing order in the Flynn case to produce all evidence in the government’s possession “that is favorable to defendant and material either to defendant’s guilt or punishment.”

The order also requires the government to submit favorable defense evidence to the court, including possible "impeachment evidence" that could undermine witnesses, even if the government believes the evidence “not to be material.”

A previous President almost lead a successful coup on a current President. This is worse than Watergate and Obama and his corrupt cabinet should be tried for treason but, of course, they won't.

Meanwhile Hillary has destroyed evidence in fire at her home. Not suspicious as all right?

Flynn was coerced into a confession by the threat of being bankrupted by endless legal proceedings fueled by a crooked FBI looking for ammo (true or false) against Trump. They also threatened to "find" evidence against his son for crimes involving lobbying. He yielded to save his wife and kid from the same fate he was going through. I won't be satisfied until I see some people go to prison over all of the rogue FBI nonsense.

I'd like to see prison sentences too but I find it doubtful. FBI, DOJ etc.

Now Schiff is going to only 'selectively' release declassified documents. Can't he be forced to release it all?
House Intelligence Committee Chairman Rep. Adam Schiff is planning to selectively release information from some of the 53 declassified transcripts of witnesses that testified before Congress regarding the FBI’s Russia probe into the Trump campaign. This move, comes after a long battle against Republican colleagues, who are fighting to make all the transcripts available to the American public, said a U.S. official, with knowledge of Schiff’s plans.

The decision for Schiff to publish a selective portion of the 6,000 pages of transcripts comes after a recent public showdown with Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell, who is also fighting to make all the transcripts public. In fact, Grenell reiterated in a letter Wednesday that if Schiff doesn’t make the transcripts public then he will release them himself.

Go Grenell. I'd love to see Schiff, Nadler, Schumer, Pelosi et al go down in a ball of flames as well for perpetuating the lies with their claims of "overwhelming evidence".
