The CCP's first crime was to try to get away with it by covering it up and deflecting attention away from the lab to ... wherever... The US Military, then a fish market, then a wet market...

I read originally that she and her boyfriend went to the wet markets and little has been said since that I have seen. Maybe she did and maybe the CCP seized on that.

Trying to blame the US military was yet another huge mistake as was refusing the help of the US and other countries in the early days of the outbreak.

One would think they would be slightly more adept at spreading their propaganda by now but we have seen how Chinese living abroad jump when told to buy up PPEs and send them back to China and even those in the west constantly trying to gloss over any wrong doing by way of deflection so I guess their propaganda does in fact work on the weak.

Yes... I think totalitarians are so used to being unquestioned by a population that at least pretends to believe even the most ridiculous propaganda, they lose focus on what their garbage sounds like to those outside their control.
