A woman and a teenager will both face court today over separate alleged spitting incidents involving frontline workers.
The first instance occurred last Thursday when three girls boarded a bus in Mosman on Sydney's north shore.

As she was getting off the bus a 13-year-old allegedly spat at the bus driver. Yesterday she was arrested at a house in East Killara and was taken to Chatswood Police Station.

The girl was charged with common assault and breach of bail. She was refused bail to appear at a children's court today.

In a separate incident a woman is accused of spitting on a worker at a fast food restaurant at Eagle Vale, in Sydney's south-west.

Police were called to the outlet after the 51-year-old alleged spat at the 18-year-old employee when her card failed while she attempted to pay for her food.

She is also accused of shattering a glass door at the shop.

The woman was arrested and taking to Campbelltown Police Station and while in custody, it's alleged the woman claimed she was positive for COVID-19 and coughed in the face of a male senior constable.
The woman was charged with not comply noticed direction re spitting/coughing - COVID-19, common assault and destroy or damage property.
She was refused bail to appear at Campbelltown Local Court toda
