Just read the first Australian article quoting Lowe as indirectly referring to oncoming deflation.
Im surprised it took this long for the media whores to twig to this....
Deflation equals depression.....

Australia is buying 90 million bucks worth of oil.....
AND we are going to store it guess where....in the USA.....
Why...
Because we haven't got the facilities....
We've just been told that it would take 6-12 months to build storage facilities....
I see.....is that a guess...maybe a dart thrown at a board...and it landed on 6/12 months...…..
In the meantime we only have sufficient oil and petrol in Australia to last 28 days.....
Doesn't it just warm your heart with confidence that Australia is being managed so well
by our just brilliant politicians...…
AND we've got millions of barrels of oil in Western Australia just waiting to be brought up....
Cant do that...too expensive to refurbish our oil refineries...which we have gradually closed down
over the years.....
