I am off to see my GP for the flu shot on Wednesday. He actually rang me a couple of weeks ago and told me off for not getting it but at the time the bloody virus was in full swing and the last place I wanted to go was a Doctor's Surgery - Waiting Room. I read that there have been no new cases in Canberra in the last few days, so I am risking it.

If you want to go to Higgins Chemist they do them (both for over 65s version and under 65's version.)

Just turn up !
My GP is next door and Bulk Bills. ;) (Not the clinic thing).
Lucky you !

Mine is one of those thieving ones that charges something like $70 and I only get around $38 back. Trouble is she is a very good doctor and I am reluctant to change!

Where is yours at Nef, and is it one of those ones that charge about $100/year to join and then bulk bill after that?
He's at the Higgins Shops, next to Higgins Chemist and NOT the Clinic joint. I have a Pension Card otherwise I wouldn't get Bulk Billed. My SIL goes to my Dr and pays the going rate. My daughter goes to the Higgins Clinic thing (where IGA used to be.)

Thanks Nef

I might check him out as I need to find a bulk billing Dr as I am a regular with all my ailments, but I would rather not one of those ones that want $100/ year to be on their books!

Thank You

Cheers

Food for thought ...

As at 20 April, 2020 total COVID cases in the US was 787,794.

Out of the whole total 787,794 cases a whopping 571,161 are top 10 DemiCommi/Blue run states (New York, New Jersey, California, Virginia, Washington, Massachusetts, Nevada, Illinois, Connecticut, Pennsylvania) which have a combined population of 104.8 million people. These states also account for 34,626 of the deaths.

The top 10 Republican/Red controlled states have a population of 103.1 million people (Texas, Florida, Ohio, Arizona, Tennessee, Indiana, Missouri, South Carolina, Alabama and Oklahoma) and have had only 97,150 CV cases and 2,626 deaths.

Big difference. HUGE difference, wot?

As trump tweeted in August last year

' ....... They have stolen our Intellectual Property at a rate of Hundreds of Billions of Dollars a year, & they want to continue. I won’t let that happen! We don’t need China and, frankly, would be far better off without them. The vast amounts of money made and stolen by China from the United States, year after year, for decades, will and must STOP.

Try thinking a bit harder BO there may be other reasons !

Location?

Seems lots are coastal

Coastal as in International travel to the state, major tourism ...even Chinks!

Major Government

Maybe you should search on the number of international visitors to each per year

Leave your rose coloured glasses at home BO!

:D

If YOU try to think really really hard you might also look at who runs those states. Who makes the laws there. Who lets the crims out of jail in case they get CV and so they can repeat offend and are doing exactly that. Who decides the international travel intake in their states. Who didn't want travel from China halted. Who encouraged their constituents to go out into massive crowds when social distancing was advised? etc etc etc.

Guess what? It's not Trump.

You obviously have no understanding of how things work and that would be fine if you ever took the time to educate yourself.

It's like blaming Morrison for the idiot Health Minister in NSW's huge mistake in the bungling of the Ruby Princess fiasco.

A little bit of exaggeration goes a long way!

It was obvious your rightard attempted stitch up BO!

What are these bad laws you seem to be implying?

So now the states have to ban international travel, wasnt Trump blowing his Trumpet about banning travel from China, forgot the rest of the world until too late it seems!

How many major crims were released not many I think, you would prefer a major outbreak of CoronaV in prisons. Repeat offenders what %, seems you would prefer more lives lost

Travel from China not sure how and if each stated voted on that!
Who encouraged their constituents to go out into crowds etc etc etc

Tweet, tweet, Donald The Pussy Grabber! :rofl

You are referring the right wing crowds waving flags and carrying guns protesting about being shutdown?
