So - why is Australia's death rate lower?
We could have a different weaker strain of it here in Australia.
There are at least 8 strains already as of 1 month ago.
Viruses tend to get weaker over time.
A virus doesn’t survive by killing its host.
It survives by infecting its host and living that way to
pass it on to other people.
Every time someone dies from the virus - that virus dies too.
There is no evolutionary advantage from a virus killing its host.

We also would have needed 10,000 ICU beds
with ventilators which we couldn't get.
He has done what he thinks is right.

How common is mass transit in Australia? In America, NY City is just about the only place in America where the vast majority of people depend solely on public transit. Other than your big cities, Australia looks sparsely populated.

The common cold is a coronavirus and we haven't found a cure for that yet, so it's a smart virus.

If you want to compare countries you need to do it realistically and we will never get real numbers from India or Africa. Australia is listed at 3 deaths per million the same as China. Do we believe China?

We once had 8 hospital beds per 1000 head of population in Australia...now we have 4....
The government was calling for thousands upon thousands of health workers who had resigned
or retired to return to the work force a few weeks ago.
The ICU bed shortage was critical...non urgent elective surgery was cancelled...
The government had to do an urgent deal with private hospitals owned by a Chinese
billionaire to keep them open because of the bed shortage...…
They even told us not to wear masks...obviously because of a shortage of masks
within health workers....and then suddenly millions appear to be available.....
The government was shitting bricks...the only way to save the health system was to
introduce social isolation in dribs and drabs...and shut down the economy...
I wonder if and when the truth will ever emerge...
Remember, we were being told originally that hundreds of thousands of Australians
were going to die.....
Businesses have shut down....peoples lives have been ruined....the dole queues
stretch into the next suburb....
All this because our health system had been run down for decades....
I for one, will never ever trust any Australian politician as long as I draw breath....
They are the scum of the earth....
