But, whinge as you will, it is America....a place where your complaints as a foreigner -- in your lifetime -- will never amount to anything constructive.....you have no control over American lives.....the lives that Americans will live as only Americans see fit.....by American rules alone, not yours. I believe the poor should be attended to by private charity, then encouraged to learn, sometimes the hard way, that they must develop the attitude that the only means to attain economic success is through hard work. The motivated among them will survive, while the unmotivated, regardless of private charity, will either change out of necessity, or eventually perish.
