New Zealand health minister demoted after beach visit broke lockdown rules.

David Clark called himself an ‘idiot’ for driving his family 20km to the beach on the first weekend of the national stay-at-home measures.

So NZ has demoted their Health Minister for driving his family to a deserted beach. The Scottish Chief Medical Officer has resigned for driving to her second home and NSW Health Minister, Brad Hazzard (such an appropriate name), is still out there flailing around in his position after letting thousands of infected people aboard the Ruby Princess float around Sydney unchecked and unabated infecting more than 600 people and causing at least 12 deaths.

The supercilious attitude of Australian politicians never ceases to amaze me...
AND the media continue to suck up to them as though they are all Gods.....
Although I heard and saw a reporter virtually asking Hazzard for his resignation the other day
and Hazzard simply brushed him aside like a fly....
Politicians are the scum of the earth...….
The media have to stop treating them as though they are all infallible....
Start holding them accountable for their incompetence.....

That might have been when that Channel 7 guy who explains the curve every night cornered him. I saw that too. Hazzard got flustered then palmed the questions off onto that dishevelled (almost grubby looking) female doctor, who instils no confidence with anything she says.

They both come across as being out of their depth, especially Hazzard.

He broke the law twice, Once by taking his family to a beach 30 min drive from his home, and again by going mountain bike riding with his mates, Peeps here are not happy lol

hey - what if SARS & MERS had turned into a worldwide pandemic?
Shouldn't we devise methods to quickly come up with a vaccine?
Let's see if we could for SARS & MERS -
it would be good to be prepared.
