Simple answer....yes...
Rep. Ron Paul in an interview on Glenn Beck last night said that the Fed was never in the plan of the Founding Fathers who drafted the Constitution.
He said that in 1913 the Congress shirked their constitutional responsibilities concerning the nation’s money and handed it over to a private corporation in the form of a central banking system. The Federal Reserve System is not a part of our federal government, and there is no reserve of real money (gold and silver), and it is not constitutional.
These bankers have been given authority by the people’s representatives in Congress to print paper money, and now electronic money, out of nothing. There is nothing backing the money up. Check out Ron Paul speaking on these things here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?

They have built an economic house of cards that is not real. And the Fed now cannot let it fall. The world would be thrown into a depression so severe that the middle class would cease to exist overnight, services would grind to a halt, and an ice cold panic would ensue. The rich men don’t want that, for their greatest fear are the marauding mobs. This is the reason that the Fed will do anything to keep the house of cards standing, even though it is only an illusion.
Agreed. It is nothing more than a Ponzi scheme.

Next question... Who owns the U.S Federal reserve?

Next question... Who owns the U.S Federal reserve?
The Federal Reserve is a private institution. It is owned by the 12 regional Federal Reserve banks, which are each in turn owned by a combination of regional banks, commercial banks, foreign banks, and miscellaneous individuals who have inherited pieces passed down through generations.
In other words...Wall Street moguls......

That describes the structure of the private corporation, but says nothing about who the shareholders are! Who are its shareholders and how much does each shareholder receive in dividends?

Yeah, I saw that in my search for an answer... However, I also read a rebuttal of that conspiracy, by The Fed, no less

So, what do we know for sure...

The Fed is unconstitutional.
It is a private corporation, with shareholders receiving dividends.
We do not know for sure who its shareholders are... making it a highly secretive company.
It has the same qualities that defines a Ponzi scheme.

Question/ Are Americans aware that prior to the creation of this unconstitutional entity that there was no such thing as 'income tax'?

Financial matters aren't my strength. This is a topic I have never researched. Sorry. I am aware that the federal income tax didn't exist until the 1910s, but haven't studied the function or ownership of the Federal Reserve.

I do know that Texas is building a reserve and intends to remove it's gold from the Federal Reserve in New York. I'm a big fan of decentralization of power as a rule.

OK, but this is a Constitutional concern. I am correct in assuming that Americans are taught about the constitution in Civics class, Yes?
Tell me, where in that document, is the Federal Reserve enacted?
