It might be time to buy Qantas shares as they have crashed and the government is going to bail them out if necessary.

There's a TAFE short course of 10 weeks or so called Introduction to the Stock Market. I called up about it but apparently it is only run in QLD and is a butts on seats course run on the Gold Coast.

I went to a seminar with a couple of mates once up here on the GC about the share market...
Just for something to do.....
We walked out after about ten minutes....it was just crap......

This is a TAFE course and I know someone who did it and they were really impressed with the guy teaching it. They fiddle around in the market now and are doing quite well even with the crash.

They told me about it so I rang TAFE up which is how I found out it's only in Queensland. Oh well. It might have kept me out of trouble for a couple of months.

Its gambling....and until you sit in front of a computer screen trading shares for twelve months or more, all the crap that they try to teach you at TAFE is just that....crap.....

Not always. Anything you learn at TAFE depends on the abilities/competence of the instructor. It's only 10 weeks and I thought it might amuse me and keep me off the streets lol.

People involved in the stock market will always tell you how well they are doing...they are like the punters at Randwick….
they'll tell you theyre "about even" or a tad in front....its all bullshit....
No-one is going to tell you... "I just did my arse…."
Anyone who tries to learn how to trade from a tafe teacher is a bigger mug than the teacher...
If he's so good at it...why is he spruiking in front of a class making twenty bucks an hour.....

BTW did you know that the minimum amount of shares you can buy in Australia is $500
If you want to have "a bit of fun"....go ahead...
I just find it hilarious that people think they can go to a TAFE course and suddenly
become successful share traders....
Tell you what....
Before you go to bed tonite...pick out say three or four shares at say around $5....
Four share parcels of $500 would be two grand...(plus brokerage)….
Fix your stop loss line and follow the movement of the shares for say a month....
If you consider selling at any time...do so if that's your choice....
Let me know how you go......too hard...I thought so....
BTW if you do decide to have a go...post the names of the stock you chose...…
Dont forget you have to pay capital gains tax from your top tax bracket if you make
a profit…..
