I just bought a pack of toilet rolls from Coles.
Quilton Double length 9 pack. $9.50.
2 large Coles women were guarding a small stack of them and giving out only 1 pack per customer.
I also picked up some other items that were out of stock in the last 3 days:
a bag of rice, some washing powder & a bag of skim milk powder.
I dropped in at my regular supermarket this morning, cant say I noticed any empty shelves , I got there as it opened there were three peeps waiting to enter, The resident homeless guy with his flip flops and sunnies , he usually buys 5 big cans of energy drink, but today it was broccoli, ham and a tomatoe. hes seen the light BOb , still hadn't washed his feet though

The panic hasn't hit NZ yet.
However it has hit England and the USA -
people are stabbing each other over dunny rolls.
Supermarket shelves are cleaned out.
