Turkey has decided to no longer stop Syrian refugees from reaching Europe by land and sea, a senior Turkish official told Reuters on Thursday, in anticipation of the imminent arrival of refugees from Syria’s Idlib where nearly a million have been displaced.

for the International Red Cross, Doctors Without Borders and other organizations in Turkey.
Erdogan wants the money transferred to Ankara directly so he can "appropriate" the money as he sees fit...guess how....

Erdogan is simply trying to blackmail Europe and uses refugees to put up political pressure where he needs and wants it. He doesn't get the money himself, so he claims Brussels broke the deal...... he invades Northern Syria as an aggressor and claims he's defending Turkey.... his military actions create new masses of refugees, so he calls for Europe's help, which he already has but not in the form he wants. Turkish troops are killed, so he calls NATO for help to support his illegal invasion. .
