AND yet if we listen to the talking heads in Australia, the virus will not cause Australia to dip
into a recession.
Two points.....
i) We're already in one...the talking heads just wont admit it....
ii) The talking heads, because they have their own agenda...will always be positive
about Australia economy....after all who is going to accept any type of financial advice
from someone who is saying "we are going to tip into a recession....."

OK, but I think Trump deserves credit for standing up to China instead of continuing to meekly accept terms that leave the U.S. with a $300 billion to $400 billion trade deficit.

China has its economic vulnerabilities, and being a businessman instead of a politician, Trump is better suited to put the squeeze on the Chinese. Not to mention the Iranians.

If Australia wants to be neutral, OK, but that would include telling Chinese students they can't enter your country at this time. You could at least join us in turning the screws on Iran's economy.

If the Democrats were really interested in safeguarding the nation against coronavirus, they'd be working with Trump to keep illegal immigrants from entering the country.
