There was a class action against the Qld government regarding the flooding caused by Wivenhoe Dam.
The action was successful.
There was a cause of action, obviously I don't know it, but I tend to think "negligence" might have
been included somewhere.
Perhaps someone can direct me to the S and G link ..or even post a copy of the data so as we all know
what the likely cause of action against the Australian Government...sorry grubberment..is likely to be...
To discover those who rule over you, first discover those who you cannot criticize...Voltaire
Its coming...the rest of the world versus islam....or is it here already...

Last time I checked, mentioning that cesspit is against forum rules. I don't know why this is so hard to comprehend. Some of you people just can't help yourselves, why not spend your time posting in that depressing shit-brown coloured den of lunacy?

As for the discussion. I've said it elsewhere and I'll say it again. The Australian "majority" needs to stop voting these dickheads in, liberal or labor. But wait... do they really have a choice with two-party preferred fuckwits?? This isn't the democratic "paradise" that many people claim it is, especially when comparing to the American's system. :rofl

The reason I made that comment is self explanatory as cods was constantly attacked as being drunk with the drunken woman image and she strongly objected.

Now she is using the same tactic!

Yet you cannot name one real reason for your TDS. It's all ORANGE MAN BAD!

Their economy is booming but, of course, that doesn't mesh with the socialist mindset of gimme gimme gimme a freebie.

Ohh right. The soap opera... as the show is "broadcast" across three+ forums, it's needless to mention the poop brown place, don't you think?

No system will ever be perfect. My point it, ours isn't as "great" as politicans and their idiotic, ideologically brainwashed supporters claim it is. To treat America's with scorn and sneers is laughable, when ours isn't much better.

There's no point in issuing a "class action" for each individual case. If we look at corruption in Government, it has spread far and wide, regardless of party or ideology. There's simply too much for a life time of sitting in court! I would not be surprised to discover that our beloved politicians don't genuinely believe in the crap that they spout, because they're in it for themselves. Elections are based upon who can tell the best lie, or which one is less of a fuckwit.

They have deliberately set forth "laws" and "ways" of doing things, which allows them to exploit the people and leech off of them. Do you ever wonder why there's so much red tape, paperwork and bullshit tied to anything government related? It's because it saps your time, so you don't have the time or the energy to stand up to the government and demand change. They make it as hard, and as unnecessarily painful as possible, so your mind is too busy to effectively do something about it. That's why we resort to a cold drink or ten after work, or puff on a joint.

We have a messed up system, deliberately "set up" so that self-serving muppets can rort the taxpayer.

Year after year, election after election... nothing ever changes. It's a corrupt, two-party system which sells itself as a democracy. It gives the illusion of independent voters.. but essentially, you're voting for the independent to vote for.. Liberal or Labor, which is determined by backroom deals and filthy arse-kissing. The Liberal party was smart enough to realize this, thus they allied with many independents, which I believed increased their odds of winning last year. Who did Labor have, aside from the moronic Greens?

Simply punishing one side of aspect of it won't do shit. We'll hear about some court case and see footage of bored, grey haired mongs, then something else will come along and turn the people's short attention span elsewhere.

You won't hear of it again... life goes on... and we'll still have a corrupt government that continuously takes the piss out of the "majority" of Australia.
