There is no remorse on my side as I didn't vote for the Tories. You appear willing to accept that corruption, you keep making excuses for it. Are the majority of Australians? I doubt it. Really?
This is one of your many (and stale) tactics, Brian. You twist what other poster's say to fit your own narrative.
I didn't vote for the "Tories" either. Third from the bottom, with Greens second and Labor with the "wooden spoon".
I do not, and have not accepted corruption since I took an interest in politics. I began with the view that the whole political system is a farce, only back then I thought I could be a hero and rescue the masses from the stupidity. It appears that the effort is futile, and I'm better off worrying about my own backyard and not concerning myself with the views of the "majority", because it is the "majority" who take stock in this farce and believe in the system which bends them over and screws them daily.
I mean, really? You've only just noticed how corrupt the Libs are? Only, from your perspective, as you believe in this system and take this crap seriously, you're jumping on this because you're a part of the indoctrinated "left". If the roles were reversed and it was Labor in the spotlight, you would simply "tsk tsk" and roll your eyes at anybody who dared to criticize a corrupt government.
Now, if the vast majority of Australians care so much about this rort, they need to do something about it, because it's the "majority" which makes the vote count. It is pointless for me with unconventional views to "take action" because I'm not rusted on with stupidity like the rest of the sheep in this country.
Chances are, this will be "front-page" news for a couple of weeks, until something else takes place. Life will go on, the Libs won't be held accountable, because politicians are not held accountable and this will be brushed under the rug, all forgotten by the next election. People will continue to vote in the corrupt farce that is our political environment, and then cry about it after the fact, doing nothing but whinge.
It's not making excuses, it's simply 'fact'. I don't expect you to comprehend, after all, you're one of the "majority". Or so you claim to be.
