Re: RIP Watch
Sad how everyone moans when a sports star or an actor dies...but the we say nothing about
the deaths of ordinary human beings.....
I suppose if you throw a ball through a hoop youre a hero...
If you spend your life pretending to be someone else...youre a hero....
Why doesn't this thread mention those who died in car crashes/water bomber crashes/Police/military
dying in the line of duty.....etc etc...
Why are the elites given special mention in an RIP thread....
The whole thread makes me want to puke....

Re: RIP Watch
You make a good point.
RIP to the Americans who came here to help with the fires and died in the water bomber crash
RIP to those poor little kids mowed down last week by a drunk drive
RIP to the firefighters who gave their lives trying to protect us
RIP to any I have forgotten

Re: RIP Watch
I lost my Uncle Clay a couple of months ago. He called me over to his house a few months ago. He wanted to tell me about my grandparents in their younger days before my mom was born. It was a good talk. Uncle Clay tried out for the New York Mets in 1963. The Mets didn't bother to tell him that he made the team until after Clay gave up and joined the Navy. He has 2 children and 4 grandchildren to carry on his legacy and many more that loved him. His wife is a big time left winger from San Francisco, but she has taken such good care of my uncle for over 50 years that I can't help but love her. I need to take her out to lunch soon.

Hannah Baxter passed away at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital last night less than 24 hours after the incident. Her children Aaliyah 6, Laianah, 4, and Trey 3 are also dead. Probably best for the poor Mother as I don't know how anyone could live after that.

Lost a very old and dear friend from Kansas. At least he got to see his beloved Chiefs win a Super Bowl before he went. Way way too young at 56. RIP Gary.

We lost my friend Billy. Because of the Wuflu, his family was not allowed at his bedside when he died and his family performed his funeral on Facebook. His grandchildren prerecorded a song in his honor for the service. He left a wife of 57 years, 3 children, 10 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren. He was a rich man in that respect.
