The beauty of legalizing drugs is that I will have an advantage in the work force as a non drug user. I just don't want to have to carry stoners financially. Stupidity should be painful, but I have no problem with anything done responsibly. If grandpa wants to light up a fatty to keep his arthritis in check, I have no problem with it. I have no problem with an employee who wants to light up on the nights or weekends, as long as he does it responsibly and doesn't put anybody in danger and I don't have to subsidize it in any way. Employers should be able to restrict it as a condition of employment, but not file criminal charges unless it is proven that they have put people in danger during their employment. (cops, firemen, pilots, cab drivers, etc...)

if a sink hole appeared they would step right in it...

as for those walking behind reversing cars.... I think its time we brought in some rules for all the dope heads out there.

Agreed, it should be treated the same as alcohol in that regard.

They hardly need MJ to be stupid. Much of the behaviour you mentioned there stems from "straight" (the equivalent to "sober" in the mull world) people too preoccupied with their phones or not paying attention to their surroundings in general because they have headphones in...

In my experience, dope actually stimulates the brain and gets it thinking, often of things I never would have thought about before. It enhances artistic creativity, hence great artists and musicians in our history. It's only when you come down off it that you become "dopey". You're not exactly 100 percent when you have a hangover, either.

I agree with that too. Some employers will drug test you on a Monday. Considering marijuana can stay in your system for up to 3 days I think that is unfair.

What you do after work or on weekends should be nobody's business except your own. So long as it does not affect your work.

I think you will find that good old Mary Jane will stay with you for close to a month.

But I agree that, when used responsibly, marijuana is less harmful than alcohol.
Especially when someone is seriously or terminally ill.

I have seen it's benifits with the elderly in chronic pain.
It stimulates their appetites and mellow the out.
For a friend of mine, who is suffering a particularly nasty form of Parkinson's, it controls her tremors and again, makes her appetite return.

I personally see no need to partake of either drugs or grog.
Never have, never will.
And when at work, it must be firmly controlled, especially in my industry where huge dangerous machines could kill you in an instant.

And our pollies, who are already near brain dead, it must be permanently banned.
I have a dream
A world free from the plague of Islam
A world that has never known the horrors of the cult of death.
My hope is that in time, Islam will be nothing but a bad dream

I totally agree.
It is wrong if anyone turns up on Monday morning who is hungover or part stoned. They are a risk to their workforce.
Pollies make big decisions, so the same applies to them

Its only a matter of time before pot is made legal...
The Australian grubberment will have it sold by chemists, put a juicy tax on it, and laugh
all the way to the bank....
93% of Victorias revenue comes from liquor and gambling taxes...they rely on the sins
of society to balance the books...why not tax pot....they're sitting on a gold mine...
If they want to introduce pill testing...why not....
BTW Ive never smoked pot..never had a fag of any type in my life...so I really don't give
a toss about pot...
It would be just another way to separate the peasants from their money...stimulate
the economy..you know...all that crap.....
But I digress...….. :rofl
I don't think it should be legalized. I have been getting 3 for $50 for years... Zero inflation on the black market.

Good point lol! 😂
