You can label me with anything you like. It's cute that you think I care, Nom. And no... the charlatan would not be delighted. He's been making a dick of himself for the past couple of days, in this thread, demanding that Americans help the refugees and for some reason, blames Texan for his nation's government's actions and being a disrespectful little racist bigot towards the Yanks.
Then why are you offering up socialist solutions? What right-winger does that?
I don't know, why don't you ask an actual right-winger? assumptions, assumptions. I am not aligned with left or right.

I used to think I was "left" until identity politics and other issues the left has adopted, took it too far and became a circus. As it stands at the moment, I find myself agreeing with a lot of right-winger views, more than the left. But not all. For instance, I'm not religious and I don't believe in religious "rights" and all of the views that come with a belief in the bible as a result of taking it for gospel. I.e, their stance on abortion, homosexuality being an abomination, etc. I do agree that the rainbow flag waving LGBTIQ community is an abomination, but that's more to do with how they go about their activism and little to do with the fact they like the same sex. After all, I like the same sex.

I could go on but I'll take the discussion way off-topic.

It always amuses me when people like Black Orchid, reboot and 4E jump on the bandwagon to criticise me for in turn criticising America. I don't hate America. I am critical of it's Government's actions and policies, just as I am of my own. I've worked with, corresponded with and spoken to numerous Americans and got on well with most of them. I still have American friends (and it appears enemies if 4E is anything to go by :rofl ) from decades ago. I don't even particularly dislike el Presidente' Trump. I find his buffoonry rather boring actually. Bernie would make a better el Presidente' IMO.

However, I don't believe in jumping on the "I love America" bandwagon. They have made numerous mistakes, some deliberate, some not. One only has to look at Vietnam, Afghanistan and Iraq to see that. Then we have Saudi Arabia and Iran. Sometimes they attempt to do good. Sometimes they do good without even trying (eg firefighters sent to help us) which I appreciate.

Enjoy your time on that bandwagon. :Hi

Brian we can make an occasional post criticising something the Chinese do and you flap your arms and screech "Sinophobe". Ditto with Islam "Islamophobe" or anyone else "Xenophobe" "Homophobe" Transphobe".

Yet you criticise Americans in just about every post you make and feel you are pure and true and above the fray. Sorry but LOLOL.

I won't even mention the Jews!

Every post, Black Orchid? Funny, I actually criticise the Australian Government much more often than I criticise the US Government. Your view is blinkered but hey, you're a Tory, what else is new? :roll :roll

So you think I consider you an old enemy? Nahhh ... you're taking yourself way too seriously, my man! I don't regard you as an enemy -- if anything, I view you more as a resident class clown in search of attention than a nefarious disparager of my fatherland.

I'm not even criticizing you for your criticism of America. I'm simply pointing out your hypocrisy in claiming to want an American leader who doesn't meddle in other nations' affairs -- especially using the U.S. military -- then jumping on the lefty bandwagon even after Trump declared in his State of the Union address that "I am not looking to kill hundreds of thousands of people in Afghanistan, many of them innocent. It is also not our function to serve other nations as a law enforcement agency. ... We are working to finally end America’s longest war and bring our troops back home!"

If Bernie had said that, you'd be posting it in boldface 72-point type with a frame around it and lighting candles for it every night. But we both know that you won't do the same for Trump's declaration, because you're not into substance -- you're into virtue signaling.

Not that any of that bothers me, mind you. Hey, I'm just here to speak my mind, not convert the heathens.

My, thats a relief, 4E. What a relief you don't stop and think about why I disparage your "fatherland". :rofl

Just goes to show, I don't pay that much attention to the US's politics. What a shame though, that he doesn't follow his words with actions. Now, if he was genuinely interested in not slaughtering people he'd extend a hand of friendship, without demands to the leaders of Iran/DPRK/Syria/Palestine and other countries. Tsk, tsk, that he doesn't, right? The peoples of those countries deserve help, not greater oppression and the threat of military might, right?

Bernie didn't say that, now did he, though? El Presidente' Trump is a buffoon.

Perhaps I should put that in my .signature? I gave up trying to convert right wingers long, long, ago. :rofl

Were you dropped on your head? Trump has attempted to make peace with North Korea to which King Jong Chink or whatever the heck his name is, has given him the finger and called off the truce.

I think where you are concerned, it's a "damned if you do, damned if you don't" when it comes to America. The way you carry on they may as well bomb Iran, North Korea, Syria and Palestine (I hope they do! ) then you will have something to really whinge about.
